A Sukhoi-25 fighter jet of the Democratic Republic of the Congo was seen again in the airspace of Rwanda in the Rubavu area. The RDC warplanes are flying over the skies of Rwanda again
Reliable information reached Kigali Sights that the plane flew into the airspace of Rwanda at around 10:45 p.m. on the 28th of December.
One of the Rwandan citizens told this newspaper that the plane was actually seen in the airspace of Rwanda and the Marines shot at the plane and warned the plane and it immediately returned to the DRC airspace.
The plane belongs to the DRC’s FARDC army, which is currently fighting the M23 rebels in the Masisi area, where the rebels and the DRC army are fighting.
This is not the first time this has happened, it is the second time that a plane of this type has entered the airspace of Rwanda, because on November 7 this plane also entered the territory of Rwanda, where Rwanda condemned this act as provocative.
This happened when the M23 left the Kibumba mountain where there was heavy fighting but the M23 eventually left the EAC forces which are protecting the security in the Kibumba area and that is why this plane is safe and entered the airspace of Goma and it flies in the air of Rwanda.
Recently, international organizations confirmed that there was confusion at Goma airport and Rubavu airport and the DRC said that it happened that these planes were flown by pilots who are not from the Great Lakes and they continued to analyze that on the map these airports are connected except that they are separated only by the border.
